The Fauquier County Roller Hockey League would like to honor the memory of Theodore (Theo) Warzinski, a 10 year member of the league, who passed away September 5, 2018. The Theodore Warzinski Ironman Memorial Tournament will take place in December 2024. See below for tournament rules. TOURNAMENT RULES
TEAM SIZE
Four skaters plus a goalie. Goalies will be put in a pool and rotated to teams with no goalie. Teams can register without a goalie. Teams can play with no less than three skaters and one goalie.
DIVISIONS (min. of 3 teams and max. of 6 teams per division)
Elementary: 5th grade and younger
Middle School: 6th to 8th grade
High School: Freshman to Senior
Adult: 29 and under
Adult: 30 and over
INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION
You will register as an individual but you MUST include the names of the players on your team. Teams will be put together if there are enough individuals who register and do not have a team. No game day registrations will be accepted.
GAME TIME & FORMAT
One 10 minute period with a running clock. Penalties result in a penalty shot at the end of regulation time. Game starts with face off. Puck can be played off netting above the glass. Rules will
follow USARS/AAU rule book.
EQUIPMENT
Inline skates, shin guards covered by pants, gloves, helmet (face cage required for players 18 and under), elbow pads and stick. Players required to bring a white/light and a black/dark jersey.
MAKE-UP DAY
In event of bad weather, the makeup days are TBD
PLAYOFFS
There will be a Tier 1 and Tier 2 playoff system if there is a wide range of talent across the teams.
